My man Chris Corely turned me on to this crackin tune and I totally fell for it.
A loving rework that stays close to the original arrangement. Just enough action to play in my sets.
I’ve just started working with the good folks over at u:move. A local promotions group that put together some of the best quality events in some of the best venues in town. And they have a choice blog/podcast as well.
They’re featuring a mix I did for them in their mixtape podcast series. Some of my favorite bangers of late. [click image to go there]

I’m just finishing up a remix of SIMO and Mancub’s tune “Punks of Funk” for their San-Fran-based Sleevin Records. A good dose of funk to loosen your feet up.
I started this bootleg of a certain 80s anthem a while back and it’s been distracting me from writing other tunes. So I got it over with over the weekend and made an attempt at finishing it off. Snap, crackle, pop!

In yet more Hotterdam news, trackitdown.net has included it in it’s 2008 Top 20 list. You can check it out here. And buy the whole list to be uber-prepared for at least a month or so yet. Before all the songs become too old to play.
Just got my hands on the December issue of Mixmag. Hotterdam was named breaks tune of the month and they even included an uber-artsy photo of me above the review. Shouts to Janette Slack for the support and, to Dave No Hands for doing such a slamming edit for the final release.
